Again, this year is coming to the end soon.

In this following month we had that big earthquake and tsunami in Touhoku area in Japan . Who could tell such a disaster would happen? Japan has been recovering little by little. However, many people lost their family, houses and jobs. Their sorrow would never fade away.

Time to enjoy the piano.
Playing the piano has been a part of my life since my childhood. I still love to play the piano though I feel a lot I have been losing my touch as I get older. We will soon hear " We Wish You A Merry Christmas" in my room !
Quilts my younger sister made for me.
Toll paintings my close friend made for me.
Noritake Japan company in 2001.
A christmas plate I bought as a memory of my younger son's engagement.
A Japanese traditional decoration called Shimenawa hung on a wall in our entrance hall during New Year Days.
A part of this decoration is made with Shimenawa, which is made of rice straw.
We can also see various Shimenawa at shrines and temples in my neighborhood.
This is my last blog in this year.
I bet we all get busier toward the end of year.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Untill next time!
